Reply from Juliette, Age 17 - 07/05/10 - IP#: 99.237.131.xxx try exercises that are specificlly geared towards legs and stomach. Ex: Lunges and the infamous "crunches". Though, keep in mind, before you start eeing your stomach and legs tone up, you have to lose the fat. Basically, those exercises work and develop the underlying muscles, but you won't be able to see or notice those muscles when there's a pound of fat covering the leg and stomach muscles. So! Try all-around exercises, running, swimming, biking, anything to just get your body in shape, and then focus on those target-area exercises as well. Also, keep in mind, muscle weighs more than fat. So, if you "gain" a bit of weight by doing the exercises, it may mean you're gaining muscle weight (which is good) and not fat or bad weight. So don't worry and keep tat in mind. Good Luck!
