Eat 1700 calories a day like me and you'll loose a pound a week. I ate about 1000 calories a day because I was sick and I lost over 5 pounds. So you can loose more than a pound if you just eat 1500 a day. It's a healthy goal, and you won't starve. 500 calories and you'll starve. 1700 to 1500 and you won't starve.
