My iPod assumes words for me, so the word "pony" in there was supposed to be "point"...haha, sorry!

Walt Whitman once said, "On occasion I have had to eat my words, and I have always found it to be a wholesome diet."....well I disagree with Mr. Whitman....you and your mom need to sit down and really talk, air out your differences. Don't argue, call names, or play the blame game but tell her what she does that bothers you, have her tell you what you do that bothers her and come up with solutions so you can both be better and argue less. On occasion you will have to "eat your words" but don't do it to the pony where you don't talk anymore and the only time you do speak is when you argue...this idea seems a little unrealistic sometimes but I did this with my mom about cleaning my room because we constantly fought over it. She wanted it clean everyday and I told her it bothered me that she nagged me about it every ten minutes. We both agreed that I'd only have to clean it every two days and she would only bother me about it when I didn't stick to my promise or it looke like a bomb went off in there...if you lay this foundation with your mom you'll find you will have built a better relationship with her and you both can communicate without arguing. This, I admit, is tough. I still fight with my mom sometimes but it has gotten a lot better. Good luck!
