Ht. 5'4", Start: 144 lb, Today: 142.5 lb (BMI %tile: 85), Goal: 120 lb - Ugh! I've been doing awful! I don't even want to go on the scale, because I’m afraid of what I’ll see. I keep making up excuses as to why I should eat that ice-cream or have that extra helping. And yeah, it doesn't help that my mom is always buying stuff like ice-cream and frozen pizza. It's hard to fight temptation when your surrounded by it! And both my brother and my mother are over-weight, so I don't know why she keeps buying all this stuff! She bought these donuts two days ago, and my brother finished the whole box! I know she's trying to get us what she thinks kids want and should have at this age, but it's not helping us!!
I have to lose this weight you guys. I'm serious; I can't be like this anymore. I don't want to be like this, and I’m really frustrated because I just can't seem to do it. I wear size 7-9 pants! I look awful in pictures! I’m so flabby! I can’t stand it!
I’m so upset with myself. How did I let myself get like this?

Lucy! You have already began your journey! There's no going back! Believe in yourself! Go for a run each morning before you eat, exercise helps you feel less hungry. Put a cute sign on the cupboard and fridge, saying, are you really hungry?

Same! My family always brings home junk food even after I told them the whole fam would benefit if we ate healthier, what I do to resist temptations is ask myself if it's worth to eat something for 5 mins then be guilty the rest of the day :s choose a day and say from this point on I will start eating healthier, Thats what I did for new years and iv already lost a few pounds, if u have a wii fit use it or find yoga to do, do some muscle exercises, and run/walk everymorning (I heard on dr.oz if you work out in the morning before you eat you are more likely to stick to that exercise plan) it'd also good to write down what you eat, when your keeping track like that your less likely to binge , goodluck!
