Is there really such thing as popularity? I''ve read some stories about cliques and stuff but I've never actually seen it. My school doesn't consist of that at all. I was just wondering because I read something that said she was unpopular at her school or whatever that had me rolling my eyes.
Reply from Maddie, Age 14 - 01/17/12 - IP#: 208.90.180.xxx Yeah! When I went to school last year there was this stupid clique called The GAA Girlz. They invited me into it but then I left because they were making fun of my best friend. Kids can be cruel. But its not anything to be upset about. Who cares what people classify you as?
Reply from Jenny, Age 15 - 01/14/12 - IP#: 184.145.105.xxx At my school we have that, except all the popular people smoke and do drugs and party , but the girls get along more than the boys, if you see a boy you can easily tell if they're popular or not
Reply from Madelyn, Age 17 - 01/13/12 - IP#: 76.126.248.xxx I don't think there is such a thing as popularity either. At my old school, there were no cliques, no one that was considered higher in rank either. To me, popularity is more like how the way you act represents you as a person. If there's someone who starts fights all the time, or is just plain rude, they are less liked and less 'popular' or have less friends. But then again, I don't think popularity is really the right word ya know. When i hear the word "popularity" I dont think of who stands out the most because of their looks or who the most money or even who has the most friends. I think about who shines the most in kindness as a person and who is really liked. Those are just my thoughts :)
