Hello everyone. I guess I'm not saying anything new; almost every girl feels fat at one time or another. I'm 4'11 and three quarters (almost five feet!) and I fluctucate from 115-122 lbs. And no, I'm not overweight, I'm healthy for my age and height. I try to get some form of exercize every other day, and I eat healthful things. But when my parents leave me home alone, I start pigging out on everything! Can someone please help me to stop this before it becomes a real problem, and maybe give me some tips on losing 5 or 10 lbs.?
Reply from Lily, Age 16 - 07/08/01 Sometimes weight can be deceiving, everyone needs to remember that the amount of pounds you weigh isnt always a reliable indicator of how look. Each person is different and has different levels of muscle tone, and different frame sizes. So it isnt right to say someone is overweight just by going on their height and weight, as you should wait until you can look at them in person so you can see if they really are 'overweight' or if its just their natural build.
Reply from Tommy, Age 11 - 03/21/01 Sorry to break the bad new to you, but for your height, you are a bit over weight. I'm 4ft 11, 100 lbs, but the calculator on the site says I'm overweight, so you must be too.
