im only 13 and i weigh about 220 pounds and i really hate it,i get laughed at every day! ive tried so many diets and they dont work! im always get depressed that im over weight. all my friends a bf and i dont have one matter of fact no guys like me because the way i look. i want to be in shape and not be the one that is running slower than everyone. i dont want to turn all red because i cant catch my breath. plus i dont know why im not skinny i have a snack and then a dinner. why am i so fat? p;ease if there is anyone out here that might now an excersie or a diet that will actually work please tell me or email me. my only dream is to lose weight. i want to at least lose 80 to 110 pounds. so please help me!
Reply from Michelle, Age 14 - 11/27/01 - IP#: 216.109.204.xxx A good idea is to eat all 3 meals and a snack between lunch and dinner. That way you keep your metabolism going so it can burn fat. Keep track of how many calories you eat. Try to eat 300 at breakfast 200 at lunch, 200 for a snack, and 3oo for supper. Then excercise for about 10 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes before your afternoon snack. Excercising before a meal will help you eat less. If your wondering what excercises to do, run in place, do sit ups, jumping jacks, kicks, punches, or take a walk. If you follow this, you should lose weight in no time, I lost 17lbs by doing this and still losing.
Reply from clare, Age 16 - 11/27/01 - IP#: 195.92.67.xxx Is a snack and dinner all that you eat? If you eat regularly it can help your metabolism. If you eat healthy foods every 3 hours or so it will increase your metabolism which will help you lose weight. When you don't eat so regularly your metabolism slows down which makes it harder to lose weight.
