I don't know what to do. I am 14, and 220 pounds. I am not unhealthy. I do alot of sports including Track, soccer and touch football. I am not bad, either. I am fast, I can run the 200m in about 26 seconds. But, I am always getting teased because no one believes I can. My father has physically and sexualy abused me. I have noticed that when I am forced to spend time with him, I gain weight. When I went of visitation for a few weeks, I lost 25 pounds. When I started to visit him again, I gained it all back and more. I eat healthy, I run 25-30 miles a week and I do alot of cardio and weight training. How do I lose the weight when I am forced to see him?

your father can be arrested for abusing you in any way. even if you dont want him to get in trouble, for the sake of yourself, your mom, and anyone else, you have to tell someone, anyone. or you can call 1-800-4-a-child. it's a child abuse hotline.

jessica! i am so sorry to hear that. Please do tell your teacher or a friend's parent or the police. its because u are nervous, that's why you stuff yourself with food, food is like your comfort. please! get out off your stepdad's clutches.

firstly, and im really sorry if i sound all high and mighty, but you have to tell someone about what your dad did, thats the most important thing. and the fact that you gain weight could mean heaps of things, you could be nervuos around him, i think that might be the most likely. please, i cant imagine how hard it would be to do this, but please tell a trusted adult or a teacher about what your father did to you
