You didn't put the weight on over night, so you aren't going to lose it overnight. I recommend only losing about 3 pounds or so a week. It will seem to go slow, but you'll be thankful you did it safely and didn't kill yourself. All of those miracle diets are usually too good to be true, you only lose like waterweight.
Reply from Camille, Age 14 - 07/17/02 - IP#: 63.78.42.xxx ...(continuing post) I think that jump roping is a great calorie burner, but first of all, lasting that long on a jump rope would be nearly impossible, and just exercise on its own won't make you lose THAT much weight. But jump rope can help you lose weight if you do it consistently with a good diet.
