Hi everyone. I am 12 and 132 lbs. I am short so it makes me look even fatter. I can't ecen cross my legs. I am going into middle school and a girl that said she is my best friend told one of my true friends that she wasn't going to be my friend next year because she is "not going to be seen with a fat cow" as she says. people call me fat, cow, pig, disgusting, elephant, tub of lard, and won of the kids goes around and says "fresh pig, 6.99 a lb." I look at my friends and get so jelous that i come home and cry. Most of my friends fit in size 0-5 junior jeans, i fit in size 14! anyone help me PLEASE! I am going to be a social loser if i dont lose at least 10 lbs. in this next month so help please! Thanks and God bless you all!

What i learned is that, yea, people can be VERY mean, but that's how kids are nowadays, to keep people making fun of them, they make fun of other people. If you try to be friendly, get a new attitude, like yourself, you could be very popular, because in my school, their ARE a couple of big kids that are popular, and they are soo friendly that they make friends with other people to make them popular too. Reply from Samantha, Age 15 - 07/22/02 - IP#: 209.252.197.xxx Hey, do you do any activities? like swim or any sports? if you ride your bike and rollerblade thatll help. ive learned that last year im still overweight but by doing more activities you can help it. and instead of drinkin soda although they are coming out with some good one you should drink water. and if you go out to eat a lot go to the salad bars first and then eat a lite meal then for desert rather than ice cream or somethin get fruit. see i eat when i am deprssed and that happpens a lot and my weight varies a lot. and my aunt and i were talking and she said instead of going to the munchies go for a walk or sleep a little and thats helped to. well i hope this helps you ~samantha~

Trust me though, you won't be a social loser as long as you show confidence and be friendly and outgoing. That may be hard when you are worrying about your weight, but you gotta try! Eat low-cal foods and exercise, youve probably heard it before.
