Start: 187 lb, Today: 183 lb - hi, my name is narisa and i weigh 183lbs. I started eating healthy and doing crunches 1 1/2 weeks ago and i lost about 4 lbs but they arent noticable pounds off my body!I also drink over 100 ounces of water a day. I was just wondering, for all you people who have lost weight, when did you start seeing results and what did you do?? im beginning to think that i can never lose weight! please help!

I started seeing my results when i lost 10 pounds.Also did friends,family,and girls i don't know.

Hey! You might not see it but after a little while other people will. Whenn I lost weight I didn't notice it but my mom and friends did! And if you really want good weight lose you have to do more than eat better and do crunchs, you have to walk and ride bike or something.

when i was about 11 i was watching tv and i saw the olsen twins cos they had just come on tv in two of a kind in england iand i got all upset cos they were like my but really skinny, i wasn't exactly fat but i was a bit chubby i was like 5ft 2 and weighed 120 pound si think so i just got really determined to lose weight but i didn't tell anyone, i started going on my trampoline alot and didn't eat any snacks not even crisps and this was the start of summer break and by the end i had lost nearly over a stone and i felt great! i'm know 13 5ft 6 and weigh 114pounds i do 25 crunches a night and walk every day and i also do sports in school and only eat fruti as snacks and no chips or mcdonalds!

well you are losing it you just dont notice because you see yourself all the time. Like lets say you didnt look at yourself for the whole time you were losing weight. after a week and a half you did look at urself, you would notice it all. you could try taking a picture of yourself (trying to show as much fat as you can.. dont worry you will LOVE yourself later for doing this) and then after a week or so take another in like the same postion and same clothes! U will notice a BIIIIGGG difference.

yea when i first started to lose, i didnt feel it, or see it, in fact i thought i looked bigger. you DO start to notice it with clothes though, your jeans get baggier around the butt and thighs and your shirts get looser, its a pleasant surprise. there are platues (sp) though, you'll lose a couple of pounds and wont lose anything for a week or so. but dont get discouraged. try some aerobic work, something to get your heart rate up for at leas 30 minutes. goodluck!

I fat and calorie counted to lose weight as well as 40 minutes exercise a day. It takes about a week to see any noticable results, but a few weeks before your clothes will fit different etc. Its heaps easier to just get into a healthy eating fitness regime daily and not think about the weight. Then youll put on a skirt or something one day and its just a suprise your like wow i cant believe this is too big! Its MUCH better to lose weight slowly cause i guarantee youll keep it off. Dont look at next week ill be skinny but in a few months. Be patient... it takes time! Just stick to it and youll get there. Any questions email me fruit_salad_yummy_yummy@hotmail.com
