Ht. 4'11", Today: 170 lb (BMI %tile: 98) - hi ppl, im sam. im 15/f. im 4'11 (very short) and im 170lbs (very over weight) my mum is the same way, but she only put on weight because she quit smoking. i used to be dead skinny, but since year 4 of school, i started puttin on the weight. since then i have tryed all the stupid ways of losing weight, starving myself, making myself sick, u no. but this time, im eating healthy ( tryin itthe right way for once!) i got an exercise machine for christmas, i started using it but then stuff happend and i stopped. but startin 2moro, i am goin on it for 30mins a day and goin out with my dad walkin the dogs! i dont really have a target date yet or weight but i'll no wen im there.

Its better if you have a goal. You should also start exercising slow and let your body get used to it at first. then gradualy work up to longer exercising times. I'm trying to lose 20 lbs myself. So good luck!!!
