Reply from jackie, Age 16 - 05/20/03 - IP#: 168.184.90.xxx Grilled Cheese probably isnt the best thing to be eating. Bread has alot of carbs, which are really bad for you. Its ok to eat butter as long as its margrine, (thats real butter) not as many carbs and as much sugar. Cheese is good for you to eat. The Atkins diet wants people who are doing it to eat alot of cheese, no carbs, and no sugar!! So if your going to eat grilled cheese, use bread that has less carbs, and not alot of sugar, and margrine, any cheese is ok!! You can e-mail me if you have any questions! mommyslilsugarplum@hotmail.com
Reply from Jill, Age 11 - 05/18/03 - IP#: 64.109.231.xxx I think grilled cheese in kind of in the middle. Bread is healthy for you definitly. Butter isn't very healthy. Cheese may have calories but it has calcium. A lot of people don't eat cheese because of the calories but it has calcium. I think you should still eat grilled cheese but only once or twice a week. Hope this helps! - Jill

Reply from katelyn, Age 18 - 05/18/03 - IP#: 205.188.209.xxx hi, well i dont' think grilled cheese is good for you. first of all it has cheese which is high in fat, butter, & 2 slices of bread. the whole sandwitch probably has close to 400-500 calories. i would stay away from them. but if you like them then just eat half of it & keep your portion sized in moderation
