Rachel starving yourself can be harmful to your health. you may lose weight for a while but your depriving yourself of nutrients that your body needs to stay healthy. what is the use of being thin if you are not healthy. i yell at my friend all the time because she is a diabetic and does not take care of herself. she stops using her insulin which causes her to lose weight but she always ends up in the hospital. starving yourself is not the answer, i don't know what it is but i know that is not it.

STOP NOW. It is very bad for you it damages your kidneys and liver. and had a ton of side effects
plus you will lose muscle and as soon as you start eating normal again you will gain weight very fast and sometimes more.

Starving, or fasting yourself, as it's called, has too many problems to count. There can be health risks such nas stomach or headache, fatigue, pain, feeling ill and energy-less, and even if miraculously you don't have these symptoms, there is a risk of shock, coma, or heart irregularities. And once you resume eating again, your stomach is loaded with enzymes and hormones that make almost every bit of food you take in to be stored as fat. This happens when your body goes into "starvation mode", which is when you consume less than 1,200 calories daily. Even if you didn't gain it all as fat, once you resumed eating as you did before you're just going to gain it back because you're going to do the same things that made you gain weight in the first place.. The safe way to do it is to eat HEALTHY (and not nescessarily diet, just eat about 2,000-2,200 calories a day [because teens need a little more than 2,000]) and excercise. So, excercise, eat healthy, and eat enough, no more no less. I hope I convinced you and you stop this method quickly. Good luck with losing weight (healthily!) ^_^
