If you start, from today, to exercise (go to dancing classes, swimming, netball, football, jog, cycle, what ever you enjoy)and you keep sweets and chocolate and crisps to weekend treats, cut out fizzy drinks and have your normal meals with your family (no going back to the pot for seconds) you will loose the weight that you want to. Not by school starting but you will have lost a little bit by then. If you do it like that, keep doing it like that through this school year you can stop worrying about your weight and your appearance now. I have been slightly overweight since I was your age. I have been miserable about it for 10 years!!!! Silly diets that don't work..... If I had done what I have just suggested to you by the time I was 12 I would have been able to forget about my weight altogether. That would have saved my over 9 years of feeling horrible. So, I'll start now and make sure that when I'm 31 I don't look back on my youth and think I wasted 20 years. You start now and you'll forget you ever felt worried about your weight. Good luck.
