Ht. 5'6", Today: 140 lb (BMI %tile: 75), Goal: 117 lb - hi people, well firstly i think its great that this site is brilliant because its a great place for exchangin stories n tips. well im 5'6 and i weigh 140! i know this is not overly overweight but i feel fat and i have lost alot of my confidence. It started when i was about 13. before that i had always been really skinny and been able to show of my figure whenever. id wear little hotpants in the summer and prance around in a bikini on the beach but u wouldnt EVER catch me doing that now! with all my lumps n bumps! i have wanted to diet for the past year but i'll convince myself that i will lose weight n stick to a low fat diet all day and then come night time my mum will bring home junk food and i CANT say no and i just binge on it. the next day i say i will start my diet and then i do the exact same thing! bottom line is i have got ZERO WILLPOWER! i want to get down to 117lbs by christmas. i was thinking of having 950 calories a day and doing half an hours exercise per day. do u think that iw ill reach my target by then and if not then have u got any tips on how i could do it? id really apperciate it!!! sorry its so long and if u want then u can email me at zokki88@hotmail.com or add me and we'll chat on msn! much love, chenelle xxxxx

It sounds like you've got a plan but I don't think you need to go down to 117. When I was 15, I was only 5'3 (still am) which is a lot shorter then you are and I was 115 pounds and a size zero so since you're a lot taller I don't think you need to go as low.
(I've gained weight since so that's why I'm here, I'm up 15 pounds of pure fat, looking huge but wanting to be thin again)

Hey! Do u need a weight loss buddy?? I would love to be urs, if u need one....I know u can lose 20lbs by Christmas..Drink lots of water and excersise every day even if it is only for 10mins....

yes- you can attain your goal by then. drink a lot of water and set up a cheat meal each week so that you can get it out of your system and stick to it all opther times. good luck and i definately recomend tae-bo- it burns the most calories- more then running or a lot of other exersizes...
