Ht. 5'4", Today: 147 lb (BMI %tile: 94) - hey ppl! i go bck 2 skool 2moro afata 1/2 term and i am going on a diet not eating breakfast or lunch just dinner and no junk food and exercisin! will it work i want 2 lose weight so badly im 5'4' and 147lbs! my friends r skinny and eat wot they like were as i i am a hippo 2 them i am rubbish at pe but i am gonna start tryin i need 2 do sumthing

HEY OK LIKE YOU SHOULDNT EVEN THINK ABOUT NOT EATING BREAKFAST OR LUNCH!!! I MENA IM 13 AND WEIGH 130 IBLS..... I SERIOUSLY NEED TO LOOSE WEIGHT TOO.....BUT I MEAN ITS PRACTICALLY STARVIN URSELF JUST EATIN @ DINNER!!!!!

well your approach to weight loss is almost exactly the same as mine. i have found it very effective initially however it does require alot of will power to continue after the one one and a half week part. however you must rember this is not an ideal way to loose weight however if you are going to do this once you have reached your goal weight go back to eating a healthy well balanced diet. let me know how you found it you can email me at Mandi_hilton@hotmail.com good luck to you

It's important to eat breakfast. eating breakfast gets your matabolism moving. WIthout breakfast, the food isn't broken down as fast. Remember, iweight loss isn't ALL just cutting back on food. excercising is good, but make sure not to over-do it. ~Kate

If u do do that then Eat breakfast bc lunch and dinner never get burned off...DRNIK TONS OF WATER...GO SKATING LOL

Ok, first of all, not eating breakfast and lunch is very unhealthy. VERY unheralthy. You should have a godd breakfast. My bud, who is almost the same stats as u, eats watermelon for breakfsat, which supposedly fills her up. She looks really Good. I think she is 5'6 and 155 ish. I dont really like watermelon, so i have a glass of water, and a nutra grain bar, or special K cereal. Special K works well. for Lunch, I have a sandwich ( usually tuna or PBJ ), bottled water, and either asmall bag of pretzels, or carrots. both fill u up well. When I get home from skool, i always have a craving for sweets, but I either do my hw to take up time until dinner, or watch tv/go on the net and chat with buds. It takes up a lot of time, and makes me forget about my carvings for food. I then have dinner (try to eat 1 serving, but u can have more if ur hungry :-) ) and finish up my hw. Exercise is goood! If u dont play a sport, ask ur parents to sign u up 4 1. I play soccer (although we had our lats game on sat, and i sprained my ankle lol) and it keeps me fit. Dont worry about what the other players think of u, i dont. I just focus on my health. I herd that if u eat an apple 20 min. before a meal, u wont be so hungry. See, the only problem wit hme is that i eat helathy on the week, and terrible on the weekend! lol
