Hey! So on the South Beach Diet, for the first two weeks, you just cut out all junk food? Thats it?

for the first two weeks (phase 1) you can't eat bread, rice, pasta, potatos that kinda stuff but also no junk food, fruit, and some veg. what you can have is lean meat (chicken breast, turkey, lean beef), nuts, and a majority of veg. go to www.southbeachdiet.com

um, no. there is way more then that. the south beach diet goes by a gluclose index which means that there are foods that are high on the index that you don't eat because it spikes up your gluclose in your body. there are charts you can find i'm sure on the internet. but definetly no carbs- it's probably moe hard to follow then atkins acctually. but it's definetly a lot more then just not eating junk food. i don't know all about it but that's basically what i know. if you want to try that diet succesfully then i'd get better information....good luck!
