Thank you al who responded to my poll on what to do I think that low carb is the way to go and I'm going to try and stick to it I think when I tried it before I failed because I was not staying under a set number of carbs I was eating meat and salads and vegs but not factoring in dressing or cheese having carbs I'll be on the look out this time but just to be clear if I do low carb high protein and stay under 20 carbs or whatever the number is do I have to keep track of calories too???

Dont do the carb thing, I have done it and you gain all the weight back so unless you want to not eat any potatoes or anything in your life dont do it. change your lifestyle instead. good luck.
