You can go to a website like fitday.com and it will tell your the nutritional information like where they have the calories and all that, it will have the carbs too. If you're eating food with labels then look and the nutritional info and count your carbs! On this diet, you can't cheat tho, like you shouldn't have flour pasta... that kind of stuff. Look up low carb diets on the internet and read about them then you can adjust the diet to fit your needs. I know that some people say that after they went off the low carb diet they gained the weight back but for me, I took like a 2 day break and realized that while I was on the diet, my eating habits changed, I didn't really crave carbs or any junk anymore so I didn't even have to take the break because I didn't want any carbs. I think that once I lose the rest of the weight I have to lose, I will eb even more used to the diet and my habits will definitely change, the longer I'm on the diet, the more it seems to start just being my lifestyle, it's really helped with my carb and junk eating. Anyways, if you want to do this diet, don't cheat and stay on track and motivated, once you lose the weight you will feel so much better and you might even just not want to eat many carbs anymore, it gets easier not to as you're on the diet, or at least it has for me. Anyways, you should try it but if you dont want to then theres always other diets out there or you can just change your lifestyle to eat healthy and al that... my lifestyle has changed with this diet tho, i dont know why people say it doesnt work and you have to change your lifestyle to keep the weight off and you cant with low carb, for me being on the diet has changed my lifestyle and I feel a lot better now that im nto eating all that junk, anyways, its your choice Im just telling your whats working for me. Reply from tag, Age 12 - 02/10/04 - IP#: 141.158.124.xxx maybe you should try eating a certian amount of calories a day. my doc put me on a low calorie diet last year, but i went on vacation last july and i totally lost track of the calories i was eating and when i came back from vacation i found out that i gained 2 pounds. while i was on the diet a did lose like four pounds the first week and a half.
