the carb thing is completely wrong... I've been on the ATkins diet for about 3 months... i was 300 lbs and now I am 260... I'm not sure if you know about the process of how the body burns fat... but it burn your carbs first... then your fat... then protiens... if you take carbs out of your system your body immediatly burns fat... so low carb diets aren't bad and niether are low fat.. it depends on the person :)

Also chug lots of water. It cleans you out and makes you feel full.
