Hey, I just thought that I should let everybody know that with the Atkins type diet, you know, low carb, well I lost 10 pounds on it and I was saying how great it worked... but it really is unhealthy adn I decided to go off of the low carb diet. I felt so heavy and greasy from the meat I had to eat and all that... I felt heavier... not like i had lost 10 pounds. I decided to just go on a diet where I ate healthy adn low fat and I can finally have as many fruits as I want and in the first two days, I already lost a pound, it seems to be working better than low carb and I feel sooooooooooo much better since im not on low carb anymore, i felt like i was trapped after a while on low carb. Sure you might lose weight, but i don't think its worth it anymore, especially because now peopel are saying its really bad and all that. Anyways I just wanted to post and say that low fqat works really great, like also eating fuits veggies adn drinking lots of water, it makes me feel alot better, alot lighter not like im full of grease from meat and all that.. ick. Anyways, im going to post under this with some stuff that might help some of you lose weight

That was just calorie stuff make sure to watch you fat intake, sugar intake etc...

Okay, so here is how to figure out how many calories you need a day to lose about 1 pounds a week...
1)Multiply your current weight in pounds by the amount of calories you burn each day based on your average level of activity.
-13 calories/pound for inactivity (sitting most of the day)
-15 calories/pounds for moderate activity (office work plus 30 to 60 minutes of aerobic activity or walking/standing most of the day)
-17 calories/pound for extensive activity (strenuous physical work or an athletic level of physical activity.)
2) Subtract 500 calories from the answer you got in step 1) to determine how many calories a day you need to lose about 1 pound a week
(I got this stuff from some little booklet so i didn't make it up or anything)
