Hey I have posted stuff before .. about me being 170 and 5'6. I am unhappy with my weight ...my stomach is where I am really unhappy with. I am on the South Beach diet/Atkins...do they really work? I run two miles everyday that it is possible(if its not like raining)and I need and would like some advice on what to do to lose like 60lbs by May 20!! ANY ADVICE PLZ POST THANKS SO MUCH i have recieved a post from Caroline and Winona and I really appreciate your postings! thanks!!
Reply from anne, Age 17 - 02/25/04 - IP#: 216.66.108.xxx my mother is on the low carb diet now. so far she's gone from a size 18 to a size 14. she hasn't weighed herself because she just doesn't weight herself anymore and we don't have a scale but she's lost a ton of inches! and she really likes the low carb diet. i woulkd go on it too- but my boyfriend that i ve been seeing for almost 1 yr and 8 months has an eating problem and i'm always with him so i can't get away from the foods i need to get away from on that diet. i think that you can do it. you lose a lot on the low carb diet and running for 2 miles a day will be great. good luck!@
Reply from Claudia, Age 14 - 02/24/04 - IP#: 24.67.253.xxx I did the low carb thing... but it's so unhealthy and I felt so fat and greasy ick... so anyways I lost a little bit of weight doing that for a long time and then I was sick of it so I started eating low fat and nto too much and I lost like 10 pounds (I lost like 5 on the low carb) anyways, I eat less so it doesnt take as much to get me full because my stomach adjusted to how much I eat now and I get to have corn pops (which I love lol) because they have in 1 cup... they have like 0 grams of fat (but I have to watch how much sugar I eat because they got sugar in them adn I'm watching my sugar intake also.) anyways, even though I'm not at my goal weight and skinny yet, i feel so much lighter because I don't eat so much adn I don't eat much meat now like on a low carb diet, low carb is gross i think... and unhealthy, you should have fruits and yuo don't really get to on low carb. My advice is to do what I'm doing... I have successfully changed my lifestyle, I will never go back to eating as much as I used to, I think you should do wqhat I'mdoing like eat low fat and not too much adn your stomach will adjust to the amount of food your eating, it will shrink because wwhen you stuf it it expands so yea and you'll feel just like I do, lighter and so much better and like your already one of those skinny girls that so many of us envy lol...
