I'm doing a lot of exercising (cardio and weight training) and I have a reduced calorie diet averging about 1300 calories, why can't I lose weight? The scale has not budged and instead has decided to go up! help! There has to be a better excuse than just gaining muscle, right?

You probably slowed down your motabolism.. or you could just be gaining a little water weight.. It happens to everyone. Don't weigh yourself too much because weight fluxuates.
