Hey Im Heidi, Im 18 and 5'5 and weight almost 170. This all hit me so fast, in the summer I was only 130, I had a bad knee accident years ago and couldnt play sport anymore, but never gained weight. I started College this year and work two jobs just to get through it and while this is going on IM gainnig weight and it wont stop. When I say I dont have time to exercise its serious, when I get home Im always tired. I was also diagnosed with Polcyric Ovrium Disease this year nothing too serious but it had worn me out physically. Hahahaha I am a desperate case. I just want to get back to 130lbs =(( Oh and has anyone ever got stretch marks embarrassing as it is I just got some on my sides and I think its from all the weight gain so fast, anyone know what to do to get rid of them or can I???

I know that I'm young really young to you but I have a sister whos 19 and a sister whos 17 with a twin brother whos 17 so I guess I oculd help I am over weight I have strech marks on the sides of my arms and I hate it I use to always workout but it's just not working so I stopped I'm still overweight but at least I have my pride I eat right and ride my bike all the time.

I know how you feel...I gained weight in College too...and trying to find time to exercise inbetween all the exams and papers is a nightmare....just try to remember that in teh cafeteria there are good choices to eat...that pizza and ice cream look really good, but are dangerous to your weight...do you walk to class...if so, leave a little later so that you force yourself to walk faster to get there on time adn that will help burn more calories...also beware of the alcohol....TONS of extra calories...that is what did some of my friends in...even those "fruity" drinks pack a ton of sugar and calories...as far as teh stretch marks go, they are there to stay....they are actually scars taht your body has produced cause your skin cells could not keep up with your body growth...so it tears slighty and repairs itself. BUT the good new is is that you can fade thema dn make them smoother so you don't notice them as much....don't worry, even my tiny size 2 friends have them somewhere on thier body....try Mederma or Scarzone...both great products and to keep your skin hydrated so that it doest shrink back as you loose weight try using coco butter..Palmers is a good brand....good luck and if you ever want to talk or anyone wants to my aol name is Understoodjuliet...Good luck!!!

shoot girl.. i wish there was someway i could help. let me know if there is. hmm.. i know the feeling of not being able to exersize.. I mean..you gotta have time to rest
