Hi..It's me again. This is very important to me. Has anyone done low carb and had good results? I want to lose weight fast and I really would like to do Atkins cuz I know it will keep my motabolism high and melt the fat off. I just wanted to here the results of you guys who are doing it. Like how much did you lose in the first two weeks..or just since you started if you haven't been on it that long? By the way..If your just gonna reply and tell me how bad it is for you..please dont cuz I've probably already heard it and the last thing I need is someone trying to crash my motivation. I'm going to do Atkins as a new lifestyle ..not just a diet so I'm not going to gain it all back..and if you think its unhealthy oh well..there is no research to prove it and its just something society has brought to our minds. Shoot..ever since they brought low fat products to the market America is getting fatter and fatter. And I'm not trying to convince anyone else to do it either..I'm just doing this for me.. low fat is fine but to be honest with you it just doesnt work for me.. thanks everyone who has been so supportive..Chels

And it does boost your metabolism. The only problems people were having was taking advantage of the program. I think you will do good on it. I am also starting, and in one day I lost a pound.

I don't know when she started, she had already been on it for a few months when she moved in, but since Jan. (when she moved in) she has visibly lost weight. And these days there's plenty of low carb stuff at the grocery store too...but it's a little expensive...she really likes getting cool whip for a snack. Also, she works out alot, which you don't have to do to lose weight on atkins, but it tones you as well and exercise is a good idea for everyone anyway. That's the extent of my knowledge on the subject. Hope it helps.
