I just thought I'd say that for any of you that live somewhere where its been really sunny, go suntan, I find that it can make you seem thinner after you get a tan. I don't know why but also I kept reading in magazines and stuff that you can seem to look thinner when you have a tan.

I suntanned for like half an hour and got a tan adn thats usually what I do each year and for me my tan lasts so I dont sit in the sun for i dono how long because I dont want to get sick or get skin cancer, suprisingly i only would need to tan maybe half an hour and it would last the whole summer lol... thats just how I am... but my tan does go away by the next summer so... ya... its not really fooling anybody just... it looks sorta better if you got a tan, I dont like being so pale :S

Reply from Rachel, Age 14 - 04/24/04 - IP#: 24.31.201.xxx Tanning causes premature aging of the skin and wrinkles and is also a sign of damage. But fake tans do the same thing and yes it does make you look thinner.
