Ok i have been eating salad for two weeks straight and nothing else except for like a few dairy products here and there and the stuff to keep you healthy. How bad is it if i put full fat dressing on it?
Reply from melissa, Age 15 - 05/04/04 - IP#: 24.107.13.xxx about the dressing...if you don't like the fat-free stuff but can't live without dressing try filling a small bowl with the dressing and then dip just your fork in it and then get some of th e salad and it really cuts back on the amount you use but still gives you the taste. Also try different brands of fat-free stuff b/c they all taste different.
Reply from Adrianne, Age 14 - 05/04/04 - IP#: 67.22.30.xxx Hey, um, if you only eat salad, or only dairy products, you will actually gain more weight. also, u won't feel as healthy as u might think u would because u rnt getting enough kinds of foods to keep your body going. u see, (my grandpa is a scientist, so i would know, and i learned it in school) if u only eat bread, or in ur case, u only eat salad, there are diff. parts of ur inside body that need all those other foods, like fats, sugar, and other things. without sugar, u might as well die. ur body needs sugar! trust me! and ur body needs fat. just don't overdo it. if i was u, keep eating the salads. what u could do is have a salad for lunch, and something else for breakfast and dinner. provide ur body with the full amount of nutrition, not just some. u don't just wanna be skinny, u wanna be healthy. :-D
Reply from jesse, Age 17 - 05/04/04 - IP#: 141.149.56.xxx Its not good to use full fat dressing because first of all there is a lot of fat, a lot of calories and there is no nutrition value in it whatsoever. Also there is TONS of salt in it which makes people bloat up. If I were you I would put Balsamic Vinegar on it or oil and vinegar because although oil has a lot of fat in it, its good fat. It also tastes good if you sprinkle some lemon juice on it with the oil and vinegar good luck!
