I drink 5-6 diet sodas a day.. its a habitual thing now, I get headaches if i drink less than that! It's terrible i know , but its so hard to stop drinking this much! Is it slowing down my weight loss do you think? I can tell that i feel bloated when i drink that much though! I eat healthy and excersize an hour a day at the gym, but the scale doesn't budge. I wonder if its because of the diet pop? Advice anyone? itd be so appreciated!

Aspertame causes memory loss. Also, any kind of coke slows your immune system way down for 2 hours! It also prevents your bones from absorbing calcium - so you will end up with osteoporosis. I suggest you switch to something less harmfull - try B12 vitamins - they boost your energy naturally. At the rate your going, you will end up sick, weak, and with poor memory (and you should know that brain cells take most your life to grow back - that's why we have such a hard time curing alzheimers - so don't damage the brain cells you have now with aspertame). And one more thing - I doubt you are drinking enough water when you are having that much coke. Water speeds up your metabolism and your progress. The average person loses 2 - 2.5 liters of water a day and since you are exercising you are losing even more than that, so drink water water water!!!!

Most diet soda is low in sodium. It's in milligrams so it looks like more, but most have 1 or 2% daily value worth a serving.

i hear were your coming from i experience the same so called addiction to diet soda it is all the caffine your body is addicted to not the actual soda same as someone addicted to coffee or smokes. the best advice i can give you is to give it up completely get it out of your system you may experience cravings and headachs for the first few days but these should slowly dissapear. But diet soda however does not affect your weight loss as it is made up mainly of carbonated water and artificial sweeteners. It does slow you matabolism down slightly but if you exercise a little more and restrict your diet from unhealthy foods you should eb able to loose weight and keep you diet drink addiction lol

hey no its okay because diet cola is like calorie free and what youre feeling, the bloat, is actually from the carbondioxide used in the carbonate. but if you wanna you can like try to cut it down slowly. like today 4.5 cups, tomorrow 4, the day after 3.5 and limit yourself ok? cola, even diet cola has it bads.

that isn't good...way too much aspertame...if u start off slowly i am sure you can make it like only one a week
