i am 14 and im 5,7 and 180lbs. I would really like to weight 130 and im hoping to loos the 50lbs this summer. i know its alot to loose in 3 months but i really think i can do it after reading what all you people have had to say, and after being overwight for years, still wearing hoodies in june to hide my stomach. I cant weight till i can go shopping and be able to buy pants and like them. Thank you everyone for letting people know your success and im gunna stay posted on my weight loss.

You'd lose more muscle and not be as healthy. 30 pounds you probably could do, but it would take work. If you're 5'7 and slim to 150 pounds, you'll be fine. It's better to set goals that are easier to work at. And it's not good for a teen to be too thin.
