I need help, I'm 16 and I weigh 229 pounds, I'm very unhappy. I try to diet, I have been for the past 5 weeks I lost about 7 pounds (but I think the scale is broken) I can't stop eatting, I don't know what to do, my family doesn't help... they buy all this junk food and I end up snacking... I'm at risk for a heart attack

I know what your talking about having soo much junk food in your house can be really hard, although some people say low fat food that is packaged is bad, but u can still by junk food type food that is low in fat. start chewing alot of sugarless gum as that will not make you want to eat as much.

So what I suggest you do, and to all of those who read this, is if you have not figured out this by urself already, your the only damn one that can help yourself. I mean c'mon, not like they force you to eat that crap. Ask her if she could INCLUDE some healthy food with her daily groceries, and if not, it would be doubtful you have all junk food in your house. Anyway, point is no one is going to help you, if you want to rise, want motivation, do something you like to do, but something that requires exercise. thats all, no one is going to help you, you need to help your self, stand on your own damn 2 feet and lose weight for yourself. If you cannot help yourself, then you deserve to be fat. -Alex
