I am seriously thinking about buying weight loss pills, or at least, I was until I found some in my mum's draw. She is overweight and I found them and looked them up on the internet and it said one of the side affects is anorexia. How can anorexia be a side affect? There was also a huge list of how these things can affect u badly like high blood pressure and stuff but I was mostly shocked at anorexia being a "side affect"

good point, your right. anorexia is defined as " loss of appetite" so, what it means is, it can cause appitie loss. :) sorry, i messed up before.

No, actually, by "anorexia" they don't mean anorexia nervosa the eating disorder - they just mean loss of appetite. Certainly loss of appetite is not an unexpected side effect of weight loss pills. :)

it could be one of those things that cuts down your appetite so it makes you lose weight from not eating enough instead of helping you want to eat healthy things.

it could be a side affect in the meaning that a goood amount of people who use weight loss pills are a bit "drastic".

probably just the side effect of the mind set you're in that makes you want to take those pills. you know, letting that idea take over you...
