my friend and i want to lose 30 pounds this summer...if we eat cereal/skim milk and 1/2 a banana for breakfast...yougurt and strawberries for lunch...and grilled chciken for dinner??? will we be able to lose 30 pounds in 2 1/2 months??reply asap...we starting tomaroww...

my name is olivia and im overweight. i know how you feel im just going to high school and i weigh 240 pounds. no one want to help me lose this weight. when my friends askes meto go to a pool party i get very scared. i will tell them that my mom said i couldnt go.

for breakfast, try having an egg white, or some SUGAR FREE ceral with skim/soy milk, or a small fruit salad, or a slimfast drink.

2 1/2 months sounds possible. But not with that eating plan, cereal is not really to good for you. I don't care what anyone says. You might want to try a protien shake in the morning, and for lunch have a salad with steamed shrimp, but don't load it down with dressing maybe just some light olive oil, for dinner have grilled fish or chicken with lots of veggies. You need to drink a ton of water, no juices because it has a lot of sugar. drinking lots of Water is the best thing you can do for yourselves. If you need somthing sweet try sugar free jello. This might seem harsh, but it is very healthy, and you should loe 30 pounds by then if you don't cheat. Also research has proved that eating smaller meals is better than eating 3 square meals everyday. When you are a teenager that is very true.
Make sure you exercise, bike rides, tennis, rolerblading. An exercise video would do really good.
Maybe take up running. I lost 25 pounds using this plan. I believe it took about 3 months, but I did cheat sometimes.

ok, first off, Lisa, how long have u been asking this question? r u that model? or maybe i'm confusin u with another lisa. anyway, i think u would get sick of eatin the same stuff over and over again. try eating eggs and toast in the morning (which, incredibly enough is better than cereal, b/c cereal is high in SUGAR) eat like yogurt and a small fruit salad for lunch and eat a regular salad (small) and chicken. exercise atleast 30 minutes a day and drink plenty of water. eat differently every other day or two, and if u lose 2.5 pounds PER week u can lose up to 30 pounds in 2 1/2 months. so good luck! email me if u need any more help(which i doubt) dancergurl14@comcast.net ~annie
