I mean, if u just woke up in a "mental hospital", the first thing on your mind would not be to go to a computer, get on a weight loss bulliten board and tell people that u r in a mental hospital. I know why u did this. U did it just to cause a bunch of commotion. U r a sorry loser that dosen't have any friends to talk to. Reply from anne, Age 17 - 06/24/04 - IP#: 216.66.107.xxx it's mpd(multiple personality disorder) that have other personalities and if one did have that they do tend to black out and don't know what they did in chunks of their time when another personality takes over. this is to help deal with some sort of trauma that has happened in the past. this is not the same as schizophrenia. that's a disorder where in some cases you hear voices and they are usually in the form of someone you know. it's a lot of confusion and a lot of paranoia. a lot of violent break outs due to it...and winona's right- it's usually a very bright person who has it. unlike a person with mpd- someone who is schizophrenic has a great life and it becomes apparent that they have it around the age of 18 or so...so- i'm having serious doubts about you having it...

Even if the hospital did have computers, when you first get there there's no way you'd be allowed to use them. Every damn thing you do'd be watched. Maybe some have monitered computer time after you've been there a while. But basically you wouldn't be running any part of your life for at least a few days.

Catatonic type: Motor disturbances Stupor Negativism Rigidity Excitement May be unable to take care of personal needs Decreased sensitivity to painful stimulus Paranoid type: Delusional thoughts of a persecution or grandiose nature Anxiety Anger Violence Argumentative Disorganized type: Incoherence (not understandable) Regressive behavior Flat affect Delusions Hallucinations Inappropriate laughter Mannerisms Social withdrawal Undifferentiated type: May have symptoms of more than one subtype of schizophrenia Residual type: The prominent symptoms of the illness have abated but some features, such as hallucinations and flat affect, may remain..................................................................so, once agian cathy, lieing doesnt get you anywere. someone with your "condition" wouldnt have dissociatve amneisa(sp) peirods.
