I think first of all you have to set realistic goals. Don't starve yourself because it will make you over eat later. And don't cut out all your favorite foods. Just have a very small portion of it and savor it. Trust me your favorite foods and treats taste so much better when you don't eat them all the time. I like the rule of 90/10 which is if your good 90% of the time, you get to cheat and have the 10% which is enjoying your favorite treats, just a little bit of it. Also, eat filling foods that will fill you up without a lot of calories. (Healthy chilli, healthy tacos, spagetti, watermelon always fills me up, etc.)They help you from overeating! I overeat too, so I always try to eat a hearty meal to prevent it!
