Reply from Mandi, Age 17 - 07/22/04 - IP#: 208.243.85.xxx quaker brand "quakes" rice snacks..its only 60cal for 8 mini cakes. I havent investigated large bags of rice cakes yet but im sure they are just as good. Nature Valley strawberry and yogurt bars are really sweet (for dessert type substitute) and only 140cal. Advance Edge Perfection bars are small, chocolate, tasty and only 120 (just think a regular candy bar is as much as 230!!) I just got these new cottage cheese cups today that are like snack size cottage cheese and they are only around 60 calories. snack size fig newtons packages that come with 2 cookies are 200cal but if you have one and save one for a later day its only 100! Animal cracker cookies are only 11.2 calories per cookie! Sugar free nesquik is 40 cal for 2 tablespoons add that to fat free milk and youve got a chocolate tasty treat. Beef jerky is a good spicy chewy snack that allows you have to have lots of peices for only a small amount of calories. I usually buy a bag that contains 4 oz and then since the serving size is 1 0z i seperate it into 4 piles. if i remember correctly its not that bad calorie wise just make sure to check labels before you buy the jerky. Lots of time its loaded with fat and sodium look for fat free and reduced sodium and such. Otter pops are good snacks but i dont remember the nutrition facts about them..anyway thats my fav snack foods good luck to all -mandi-
