I'm so fed up right now. I have a really bad habit of weighing myself every day and yesterday I did SO GOOD and I just knew I had lost some... then I stepped on the scale this morning... UP BY HALF A POUND!!! urgh how did that happen? Anyway, I think I need to start weighing myself once a week...lol

half a pound is nothing. ur clothes could weigh up to 5 pounds, maybe u were juss wearin heavier stuff

the same thing kinda happened to me..i was weighing myself everyday and my scale was teetering in the 285 area (up by one..down by one kinda thing) then i went to the doctor and they said i was 278..well i was freakin ecastic but now the pants that i wore over 4th of july weekend...are NOT NEARLY as baggy as they once were and a skirt that fit fine a week ago was kinda tight when i wore it to work. I give up lol! The scale that i have i dont trust anymore, however my family and i goes to the gym every friday..i think friday is definately my new weigh in day. In fact im going to push back my old scale so im not encouraged to step on it. It just refuses to move past 283ish!!! Its so unrealiable and i need something that is reliable if im going to be serious about dieting which so far i am. Im also going to start measuring myself with a fabric tape measure you might wanna do the same. good luck! i hope we both get over our scale issues lol
