school is coming closer and im very nervous. i wont know anyone or know where my classes are or anything! it takes me a long time to make a friend.. since im shy when im by myself. plus, its harder to make friends when other kids c that im overweight.

Reply from Mandy, Age 15 - 08/08/04 - IP#: 67.128.52.xxx everything will be alright, when i was first starting a new school i was nervous too. try getting your mom or dad to take you to all your classes before school starts so youll have an idea about where they are. and making friends shouldnt be too hard. you dont want friends that care how much you weigh anyway. talk to everyone and be really friendly! good luck! your in my prayers :)
