Recently i have made the decision to become an ovo-vegitarian. i am waiting for my doctors appointment on wednesday but i have already started to cut out meat, and working on the dairy. today i was looking at flyers and just noticed how expensive vegitarian substitutes are-soy milk (1.89L) litres is $3.50 (more than a 4 litre ug of regular) and meatless hot dogs are double the price of regular. i kinda expected it to be more expensive but my family doesn';t have that much money. does anyone have any low cost ideas that could assist me in getting all my protein and calcium without dairy, meat, fish or poultry? Sorry if this isn't really about weight loss...but in the long run i am sure it will assist me in many ways in achieving my goal
