This is from my magizine I got that has a workout in it.........Is soreness a sign I've done something wrong? Acturally, it's a sign the workout is working, says Caldwell. See, when resistance training is done right, it causes tiny tears in muscle fibers, which causes a little soreness. The body then goes to work repairing these tears, building more muscle tissue in the process. So if you notice soreness that is why most of the time enless something serious happened like you tore a whole muscle which wont happen enless you bounce when you stretch.

If the excersize was strenuous enough, your muscles could just not be used to it, or maybe you hadn't worked them out like that in a while. Sometimes different types of excersizes really wear you out because you've never done them before and it's new to you and works new parts of the body. Sometimes when I do yoga, and we go to certain positions, usually I'm pretty strong, but sometimes it's extremely difficult. Maybe you could build up muscle by doing those frog things more! Have a great day!

If you haven't been doing training like that for awhile your muscles were probably just tired. Try warming up then cooling down afterwards.

Did you guys walk if off afterwards? Or do a cool-down? Lactic acid is what causes the burning in your muscles and the reason for cool-downs (or have you ever been told to walk off a mile, or just told not to sit down after running?) is that you have to let the blood flow to the muscles and wash out the lactic acid that was produced. Otherwise it sits in your muscles and could cause damage.
On the other hand, you could just be sore which is normal.
