ok im posting again. this is not weight related but my parents dont understand ANYTHING i hav 2 go thru. they wont let me shave my legs and im almost turning 15!! people in my gym class ( im in a co ed gym class) stare at my legs and both boys and girls get grossed out. they think i shouldnt shave my legs till like im in college

I don't see why you parents won't let you do something as harmless as shaving your legs. Why is she so strict with you? I don't think it's right for a parent to force their child to be embarresed.

i started my period when i was 11 so i think im earlier than most ppl my age.... my parents are very strict nd they wont listen. but thanks anyway! and in gym, we have to wear our gym uniforms..... its a tshirt nd shorts . ur grade goes down nd its lyk u hafta wear it. :(

i kno how u feel i couldnt shave my legs till i was 12 and a half (they finnally gav in caus i kept beggin) and i was teh last one in my gym class too. just shave them anyway, or go buy nair or something

why is it such a big deal. people start growing hairs on their legs and armpits when they hit puberty which can be as young as 10-11. you have to tell your parents that you're not a kid anymore. and just shave them. or wear pants. easy as that. i mean come on are they not going to let you wear a bra when you get boobs either??

Explain to your parents that shaving your legs would help boost your self confidence and that there are many options besides shaving your legs like hair removal creams such as veet mouse and nair.
