today is the first day of the rest of my life, ive started my healthy routine and excercise, and i hope within 4 to 7 months i will be at my target weight. The diet is abit hard as ive only just started but im gonna get through it. (has anyone got any encouragement tips for me?)

set tiny eeny weeny targets, like " im gonna loose at least a pound this week"etc.good luck + dont give up!

You make think it is hard, but dont you know, the things you work the hardest for, have the biggest rewards. When you get to you healthy goal weight, there are a million rewards, health, confidence, clothes, self esteem, etc. Good luck. One thing that helps me is eating my meals at the table, away from the tv. It makes me realize how much I am eating, and realize that I am no longer hungry. Eat slow, it can help you be full with less food.

Hey! I'm glad 4 u. I just started with my "new life" Last week. I've already lost four pounds. SO just stick with it. It's comforting to know that there are some teens my age going through the exact smae thing I am. Good luck.
