neone on atkins.. I started it today for bf i had 2 eggs and bacon lunch tuna with porkskins.. and I had some sugar free jello and for supper im having a chicken salad.. ne one on leave me somee xoxo thankss Rina

It looks like my legs arent as blown up.. could that be from loseing water weight.. and last night.. my stomach made alot of noise.. and It wasnt growling bc I just got done eating thank ya girl.. Reply from Elisabeth, Age 161 - 09/15/04 - IP#: 68.231.241.xxx To Katherine, yeah, I know the first weight is water weight, but why would you go back to eating how you did, if it got you fat in the frist place,when you think about it, any diet is a life time commitment, and besides, now they have low carb bread, icecream, and cereal, so it does make keeping the weight of easier. so if the diet didn't work for you then, it didn't work for you, but it may work for others, so don't try to discourage them.
Reply from Katherine, Age 14 - 09/15/04 - IP#: 66.44.59.xxx people, i must say that atkins is not very good. i did it for 2 weeks,and sure i lost 10 pounds, but guess what. in three days of not being on the diet i gained it all back. no one has proved that atkins has lasting results, and i don't think it does. the moment you eat something with carbs you will gain it all back. it is a LIFETIME committment, so unless you are planning to do it forever, i wouldn't try it, and by the way, the weight you lose in the beginning is just water weight, its not fat.
