::sobs:: i decided to weigh myself this morning because i thought i was losing weight and i wanted to know how much. when i got on it i found out i weigh 170 pounds, meaning i gained 10 pounds. I am so upset cuz i thought i was doing great! so i figure what happened was:1. my 1 hour 40 minute p.e. classes where we stretch, run, and play football, my 1/3 mile walk from the bus stop to my house, and my 2 mile walks payed off and made me gain 10 pounds of muscle OR 2. I am a fatso and need to do a better job of dieting.

If you exercised everyday and ate unhealthy it's not going to very much. it may do somebut not enough. your exercise sounds great just eats well. fruits and veges and protein!!! try not eating mayo and dressings because they contain fat. and GOOD LUCK!!!!

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but I highly doubt you gained 10 pounds of muscle if thats what your daily exercise consists of. Only because in order for a person to increase their muscle mass by 3-4 pounds they have to do 8-12 weeks of resistance training. & if that's what you've been doing...then maybe some of it is muscle. Or you maybe you're drinking more water causing water weight. Also, make sure you're weighing yourself first thing in the morning. These all affect your weight. Just don't get down on yourself!
