Reply from Janet, Age 14 - 09/29/04 - IP#: 69.144.80.xxx That's how my sister felt about herself. So much she eventually had a bmi of like 17 or 17.3 or something still called herself a big, whale. Turned out she was anorexic.

Reply from Melissa, Age 14 - 09/21/04 - IP#: 68.19.25.xxx marina is right. you're at your healthy weight range, but you just don't have that much muscle. a really good book that i recommend is toning for teens: the 20 minute workout that makes you look good and feel great. you won't really lose a lot of weight, but but you'll be muscular, not flabby if you think you feel that way. it's a really great book and it really does work.
Reply from Marina, Age 17 - 09/21/04 - IP#: 24.215.12.xxx Yes you can! I was exactly what you were describing a while ago. How is this possible? Well...Although you may be a healhy weight it is very possible that you have more body fat then muscle. So what I am saying is that...you may be within your healthy weight range...but you may have over the suggested amount of body fat for your body. If you need me to explain this a little more clearly then just re-post it. I'll explain it better if need it be.
