umm, well i run at least 3.1 miles a day. i try. im not over weight or any thing but i like to help. if u run alot and watch your food intake and drink alot of water. water has to become your best friend. really. once your on it u wont go back to coke or any thing. if u dont like water then try flavored water. propel is the greatest. i run track and cross country. at first u have to start out withn like 10-15 min runs (or less ) a day then when ur ready u need to move up to atleats 5 min. it workes wounders. u need to streatch really good to. and i dont recomend pushups or crunches(even thought i did those in cross country) they make u have mussel and u might weigh ur self and just be the same weight and be dissapointed couse u thought u were doing sooo good, so just stick to running and watter. o ya dont spend all your time on the computer that dosent help

Like Anne, my parents are on the south beach diet as well. They have lost a lot of weight. I know what you mean when you say that no one's ever said your fat, but your just so sick of being chunky and you want to be pretty, thin and hot. It's the same for me too. Good luck to you!

try south beach diet. i've been on it and so far so great. you should lose 7-13lbs the first two weeks. that'll make a difference. it's also easier then atkins because you can eat a bit more carbs. veggies are unlimited and you can eat tomatoes and such things like that. the book is very very helpful and the paperback is only about 7 dollars...good luck either way though!
