hey im 14 years old and i think i am kinda overweight.i used the weight calculator and it said that i am at risk of becoming overweight.im not sure if this is accurate for me as i am very active and eat healthily(which means i am quite muscular for a girl)but anyway my weight is 150 lbs and i am 5ft 5in. Can anyone surgest a suitable weight for my? it would mean a lot to me if anyone of you could help me!Thanxx and peace

Reply from anne, Age 17 - 12/05/04 - IP#: 216.66.102.xxx well- starting at 5' you are supposed to be 100lbs add 5lb for every inch after and you get 125. or so the rule goes. maybe work towards that and see how you are you might have to weigh more to be healthy depending on your muscle/bone mass. good luck- i'm working towards that too.
Reply from kristi, Age 15 - 12/04/04 - IP#: 4.33.229.xxx if u are muscular, it says the weight thing doesnt count...like im 200 pounds and 5'10 and the doctor told me the 180 is the lowest i can get down to, i play lots of sports, and so ask ur doctor...
