I am 14 and 180. I REALLY want to lose 30 lbs. but I need to know if any diest have worked for any of you guys cause im gonna join the football team at school and I want to ghet in shape. I run now atleast 1/2 mile a day. Please please dont just ignore me please help.

uif you go to the low cal. root then you can start off with slimfast- that's what helped me start losing weight. then- while you're on slimfast follow it correctly- a lot of people don't. like having enough healthy snacks and a balanced dinner and so on. it really teaches you how to eat healthily then you can do it easier without the shakes. go to www.slimfast.com if you're interested- it's free anmd has a weight chart and food and exersize diary so even if you aren;'t on slimfast you can make use of it. god luck!

hey brett. i think all of us have a common desire at this site, so for ideas on how to diet, try reading other posts. the general idea of it all, though, is that you should eat less and exercise more. it's a really good idea to run half a mile every day... you might want to try running in the morning (it gets your metabolism up and running so u burn more calories for the next few hours) and maybe you can try to increase the amount you run each week. if you run half a mile one week, then try 3/4 of a mile everyday, and so forth. and no matter what happens, it's never too late to try again. it won't be easy, but it's definitely not impossible. you can do it! good luck!

Hey Brett.Im not ignoring you because you need some advise so you can try out for football.Well have you tryed any diets?Its very good that your running,its gets your heart pumping.It isnt healthy for you too be overweight as you already no,so you defenently need to find a diet,beacuse at this age if you dont dtart losing weight now,itll be xtra hard when your an adult.Most of the time the problem is youll do a diet for a day but then quit,theyre very hard to stick too,but if losing weight is something you really want you can do it.Now heres my advise to find a good quick diet for you.Go to your doctor and ask him what is the best diet for you because not all diets are healthy,you need to find one for a teen.i hope I helped you,good luck and I hope you make the team!
