i need help. i am 5/6" and 220 lbs. everytime i say im gunna lose wieght i never do, i can never stick with anything, but i want to this time. my prob. is it is the holidays so there is cookies and candy everywhere and i hate it if i say i will try after the holidays i know i wont, i need to start now. another BIG problem is that i work at mcdonalds and i get free food everyday and im so hungryy after work so i eat it. i want to loose weight sooooo bad and i wanna be pretty! someone please help me!!!! i have no self control

And they smell amazing. And there warm and chewy and the chocolate chips will melt perfectly with a cold glass of milk. I want some soo bad, but if you give in once, you keep on giving in all the time. So here i am with no cookies but when i get on the scale tomorrow ill thank myself for not going near them. I made a list of 10 reasons why I want to loose weight and everytime I want to reach for a cookie I read it and it works. If that doesent work cuz mcdonalds smells so good and tastes great...then you prob should get another job that doesent involve food.

Reply from Kelly, Age 14 - 12/06/04 - IP#: 24.7.116.xxx hey anna! just a quick thought. if you get a choice of what to get for free at work, maybe you can try to make healthier choices, like trade in a normal meal for a kids meal. the toys are the coolest part of the meal anyway. even doing taht will cut calories. maybe you cuold ditch the soda and just have water, that also makes a big difference. i kno it's hard, but it CAN be done, you just have to beleev it. if at all possible, don't go to work on an empty stomach. EXERCISE IS KEY!!! good luck!

Reply from Catherine, Age 15 - 12/06/04 - IP#: 198.81.26.xxx Hello Anna.I no how you feel,its holiday time and that means candy and sweets which isnt to good for you to lose weight.So Mc Donalds doesnt help you lose weight,maybe while you work there you can look for another job and if you find one quit Mc Donalds.Also if losing weight is truely something you want to do,do it.Trust me it can be done.Go to the doctors and ask for a good diet for you,also you might want to eat a big healthy meal so you wont be so hungry at work.If you dont excerisze try doing some that wont hurt your body but atleast get your heart pumping.I belive in you,you can do it!!!
