i can't stop messing up my diet. how do you resist temptation, people? pleae give me some tips other than brushing my teeth because i can't do that anytime anywhere.....please....this is horrible- i was only 15 pounds away and now i must be a lot more away. i've gained ten lbs of the 30 that i lost. i hate that i can't keep at it. my email is red8705@hotmail.com or just reply to this post.

Which wasn't alot, only about 8 pounds, but it still SUCKS. I'm not sure...I think resisting temptation is one of those things you just have to do on your own. There are things that may help, such as brushing your teeth, chewing minty gum, etc., but it all boils down to saying no when the plate of cookies comes around, walking past the doughnuts. I know it's hard, but I've learned that you have to do it yourself, and learn willpower. Like I said before, you don't have to go cold turkey, let yourself have a serving size of ice cream, or a cookie, etc. Just don't go overboard.
Reply from kathryn, Age 17 - 12/09/04 - IP#: 80.131.68.xxx a lot of ppl just say to try chewing gum. o some sugarless type or something so the calories dont add up. And ALWAYS chew so that you cant eat at teh same time and you wont-- hope it helps!
